3:00-5:00 PM

Trinity Baptist Church, 410 S Church St, Thomaston

Exceptional Children, Special Needs

Our churches are full of children who meet this description. The challenges of ministering to children and their families are unique to each child, especially those who struggle with special needs. We all want to be equipped to better serve these children.

The purpose of this workshop is to strengthen the skills you already possess and introduce you to tools to help you teach and lead children who have special needs. You are not alone, so take this time to meet with others who desire to minister well in this area.

We will spend part of our time in instruction but will also take the time to workshop how this looks in your own church setting. Bring as many of your workers as possible.

Our speaker: Lisa Moore

Lisa currently serves as Kids Minister at Cross Point in Perry. Previously she served for 19 years as Kids Ministry Leader at Lawrence Drive Baptist Church in Macon

She has been a Registered Nurse certified in pediatrics for the past 36 years and has specialized in Pediatric Developmental and Behavioral Health for the past 15 years.

Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge in the area of ministering to children with special needs and their families.
